TEN ECOPORT at the event of the international project CRESCENDO – Creterea sanselor de ocupare a studentilor (WP2-2.4)

TEN ECOPORT will be presented by POLIBA at the event organised by UNIVERSUS CSEI in Bari, Italy
in the framework of the international project called "CRESCENDO – Creterea sanselor de ocupare a studentilor
whose partners are Asociatia PartNET – Parteneriat pentru Dezvoltare Durabila; Universitatea Tehnica ”Gheorghe Asachi” and UNIVERSUS-CSEI.

The main objective of the project is to increase employment for 400 students in the technical field by providing guidance and counselling services, carrying out of professional internships and carrying out a study on a transnational level. With this objective, the project aims to adapt the skills and expectations of persons during the period of education to labour market needs, by participating to reduction of discrepancy between the future work force and potential employers.

Ms Tatiana Branca from the Polytecnico di Bari will present the TEN ECOPORT project with a focus on the role that the University may have to align and orient the students' skills to the new systems of environmental management of ports and integrated new technologies. She will highlight the key-competences (knowledge and skills) which a recent graduate in environmental matters should be equipped to be inserted more easily and with greater success, under the ports with preference for activities that involve the application of new environmental management systems that the partnership of TEN ECOPORT is studying.
